Riding for Adults

at Stag Lodge we offer rides in Richmond Park and lessons for people who want to
ride on a regular basis or just as a one off experience. Whether you are
looking for a sedate amble around Richmond Park or one of our faster group
hacks then we can cater for you. We offer individual and group rides for adults
as well as lessons in our arena to improve your position and technique. We have
many instructors and horses that we will allocate you according to your ability
making it a fun and safe experience.
Horse
riding is not only fun but a great workout for both the mind and body,
physically boosting the cardiovascular system and mentally easing stresses on
the mind. It may seem as though the rider is not doing much exercise but an
hours ride can burn similar calories to a 30 minute jog or cycle! So who would
have thought, a hobby not only totally relaxing and de-stressing but you also
burn calories while you do it, beats the gym any day!
