Children aged 6+ who are starting to learn the rising trot can choose to move onto Lunge Lessons in the arena. Here the pony is still controlled by the instructor and moves in circles on the end of a long rope. Lunge lessons are an excellent way to improve the rider’s balance and position. They last for 30 minutes. Private lessons off the lunge are also available and may last for 30 minutes or 1 hour.
