Children aged 6+ who are able to do the rising trot off the lead rein can move into group lessons. At first they will ride in the small arena, where they will work on skills such as trotting poles, turning and learning to canter. Children who are confident in canter and over small jumps ride in the big arena, where they can practise drill riding, showjumping and much more on a wide variety of fun, lively ponies. Groups from the big arena also ride over to Wimbledon Common to enjoy riding in the open and to take their lesson in the sand arena there.

Children’s group lessons take place at weekends, 8.30am-1.30pm and 2.30-5.30pm. Each lesson lasts for 1 hour and there are never more than 8 riders in a group.
